During the design process we will offer advice from a builder’s point of view in areas of ergonomics, budget, energy efficiency, maintenance and re-sale value.

Once the design and engineering are complete we can then establish costs on most of the components of the project. At this time the application for the building permit can also be submitted. If there are parts of the scope of work that are not yet determined such as flooring, type of roofing or interior design, we include cash allowances in the estimate which are adjusted accordingly later in the construction process. Allowances help to establish realistic budgets while not delaying the building process.

During construction, the key components are: planning, communication and quality trades people and suppliers. The homeowner or homeowner’s representative are always consulted on any major decisions. We have been vetting local trades and suppliers since starting in 1991 and have established trusted relationships with the industry’s best.

After you move in and start to enjoy the space we are available to look after any warranty and maintenance issues that come up. Our reputation for honouring warranty obligations is second to none. We offer the same 2-5-10 year warranty governed by B C Housing for our renovations and newly built custom homes.
